Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for the Gamecube- Game Review

It's that time of year again to review things Harry Potter. I'm sorry I'm starting a bit late this year but rest assured, I will still be reviewing a great deal of content as I plan to review all 4 GameCube games based off the movies plus Harry Potter Quidditch Cup(switching off between this series and Pokemon due to timing).
I grew up playing years 1 and 2 on the PC, but for obvious reasons I can't play them. When I first got a Wii later, I did end up starting on the GameCube series that I remember fondly. So let's get started on Year 1.
Plot
You are Harry Potter experiencing your 1st year of Hogwarts. After just discovering you are a wizard though this won't be a peaceful year.
Gameplay
This is an adventure exploration game. You can freely explore the castle and grounds for hidden items such as wizard cards, Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans and missing items from students. Use spells to solve puzzles and reveal more locations. Each class has a spell challenge when you learn a new spell, that is like a dungeon you must get through to pass your class. It's not easy being the Boy who Lived.
Review
I loved this entry of the Game Cube series. Hogwarts is fleshed, out with students to talk and trade with, every floor of the castle has places to explore not to mention the spacious grounds where you can even fly your broom. This game shows what it's like to be Harry living through the events of the book and films. If you are looking for a great video game based on Harry Potter, this won't be less than magical.
