Tower of Druaga- Anime Review

I got part one of this series years ago in an mystery box. It's been so long I have no idea if it was an blind one at an anime con or an old Boxuchan. After finishing an sci-fi with Jinki I decided to review an fantasy anime this time.

Plot

Every few years there is the Summer of Anu where the demons in the tower are said to be weak. The country of Unk wishes to destory the demons once and for all including the monster called Druaga. The army soliders aren't the only ones in the tower as on the first floor is the town of Meska which is host to also adventurers after the lost treasure which is said to be in the top floor of the tower. With these different groups only time will tell how it will all play out.

Review

I quite enjoyed this series the characters are likable, the comedy was fun, the tower itself was creative, the only thing I didn't care for was the main plot once it got to part 2. It tried for this big epic story and just when I thought it was over it decided to extend it for a plot twist that to me was a stupid turn of events. To me it could have ended in part 1(besides its cliffhanger plot twist) and it would have been better. If you love anime based off video games or adventure with needless plot twists then climb the tower.
